Data Deletion Options in Enterpret

Enterpret supports several ways to delete data, from individual feedback records to entire integrations. This article summarizes each option and how to request it.

1. Delete data for specific users or accounts (User Privacy API)

Use this when you receive a deletion request from an end user, or want to proactively manage user data privacy.

  • Obtain an API key from your CSM

  • Submit the User IDs to delete (up to 100 per request).

  • Deletion is hierarchical: a record match deletes the record; a user match deletes the user and their related records; an account match deletes the account and its associated users and records.

  • Requests are batched and scheduled for processing within 24 hours (configurable).

See User Privacy API.

2. Delete individual feedback records

If you need specific feedback records removed, Enterpret Support can delete them from the backend. Share a link to the record(s) you want deleted.

3. Retroactively delete records that don't match your ingestion rules

Ingestion Blockers let you define rules that prevent certain feedback records from being ingested. If you set up an Ingestion Blocker and also want existing records that don't meet its criteria removed, Enterpret Support can trigger that deletion immediately.

See Managing Personal Identifiable Information (PII) in Enterpret.

4. Delete an integration

To delete an integration, share the details of the integration with Enterpret Support and they will delete it for you. For background on how integrations work, see the Integration Activation Guide.

Enterpret automatically detects and masks PII at ingestion, and Ingestion Scrubbers let you remove specific metadata values or parts of feedback content according to rules you define. See Managing PII in Enterpret.

Note: Please reach out to support@enterpret.com or your CSM to request any of these.
