Refiner Integration

Connect Refiner to Enterpret to send new survey responses into Enterpret in real time and analyze them alongside feedback from your other sources.

Overview

Refiner is a customer survey platform. Its Enterpret integration sends new responses from selected Refiner surveys to Enterpret, where your team can analyze qualitative answers, ratings, trends, and recurring themes together with the rest of your customer feedback.

This is a push-based integration: Refiner sends survey responses to Enterpret after you enable the integration in Refiner.

Before you begin

You will need:

• Administrator access to your Enterpret workspace
• Access to your Refiner workspace and its integration settings
• An Enterpret feedback webhook API key

Treat your Enterpret API key like a password. Only paste it into the Refiner integration setup flow.

Create an Enterpret API key

1. In Enterpret, open Integrations. If your workspace is still onboarding, open the Add Feedback Sources page instead.
2. Click + New Integration and search for Webhook.
3. Choose Feedback Integration.
4. Use a descriptive display name such as Refiner, then finish creating the integration.
5. Copy the API key shown at the top of the integration page.

Connect Refiner to Enterpret

1. Sign in to Refiner and open Integrations.
2. Select Enterpret.
3. Paste the Enterpret API key you copied.
4. Select the Refiner surveys whose responses you want to send to Enterpret.
5. Click Save.

The integration is now active. New responses from the selected surveys will be sent to Enterpret as they are received.

To verify the connection without waiting for a new response, click Send test in the lower-left corner of the Refiner integration page. Refiner will send a randomly selected existing survey response to Enterpret.

What gets synced

Refiner sends the survey response together with available context such as:

• Response timestamps
• Survey names
• Rating values
• Response attributes and metadata
• NPS, CSAT, and Number ratings when those question types are used

This context can be used to filter, segment, and analyze Refiner feedback in Enterpret.

New and historical responses

The integration sends only new survey responses collected after it is enabled. Existing historical responses are not synced automatically.

You can update the selected surveys at any time from the Enterpret integration settings in Refiner. To bring historical responses into Enterpret, export them from Refiner as CSV or Excel and follow File Upload: CSV data on Enterpret.

Monitor delivery in Refiner

On the Refiner integration page, click Show logs to review the last 1,000 requests sent by the integration. Each entry includes the request status, the trigger that caused it, and the response returned by Enterpret.

Troubleshooting

The API key is rejected

Confirm that you copied the full API key from the Enterpret webhook feedback integration and that the integration is enabled. If the key was revoked or replaced, copy the current key and update the integration in Refiner.

New responses are not appearing in Enterpret

• Confirm that the survey is selected in the Refiner integration settings.
• Remember that only responses collected after the integration was enabled are sent automatically.
• Use Send test to verify the connection.
• Open Show logs in Refiner and review the request status and Enterpret response.

A delivery failed

Review the response shown in Refiner’s integration logs. Refiner retries a failed request once. If the retry also fails, correct the API key or reported configuration issue, then send another test.

If you need help, contact Enterpret Support and include your workspace name, the Refiner integration name, the affected survey, an example response, and the relevant Refiner log entry or error message.
